Saint Francis Service Dogs are professionally trained dogs that are placed with children and adults with physical or developmental disabilities, such as: autism, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, rheumatoid arthritis, POTS, amputation, and many others.

Our service dogs learn a wide range of commands in order to assist children and adults to achieve their goals and to live more independently. Service dogs can retrieve and carry items, open doors, get help, and provide deep pressure, among many other tasks and skills. A service dog can also provide peace of mind as well as unconditional love and companionship.

The strong bond between human and dog can enrich a person’s life in countless ways. Our Partners report that they experience increased independence, more positive social interaction, more confidence, and, of course, more than enough love from their new best friend.
